2013-current - Founder and owner of Hurricane Trading. An international trading and consultancy company, based in the Netherlands, specialized in international trade & consultancy. Also a registered supplier for the United Nations.
2008-2013 - Founder and owner of Plant & Equipment Hire Ltd, a planthire company in Ghana. In 2013 this company was sold to a multinational from South Africa.
2004-2013 - Founder and co-owner of ITSC Ghana Ltd; a technical trading company in Ghana. Main business based on supplies to (gold) mining and power producing companies in Ghana and neighbouring countries. My share in the company was sold in 2013 to a multinational.
2003-2013 - Founder of Wiegersma Ghana Ltd; a machine rental company based in the Netherlands with activities in one of the main export ports in Ghana. As managing director responsible for finances, admin, taxes, staff, (local) governmental issues and day to day operation in the port, including managing of a Dutch engineer.
2013 - I assisted in the execution of a due diligence, after which the company was sold to a Belgium multi-national.
1998-2002 - West African Mills Co Ltd; a German-Ghanaian cocoa-processing company in Takoradi Ghana, as financial controller/deputy managing director. (400 staff) Co-responsible for production (quantity and quality), finances, budgeting, reporting and the implementation of new financial software. In 2001 and 2002 also responsible for cacao purchases, cleaning and export from neighbouring country Ivory Coast.
1994-1998 - Neckermann Reizen Diemen, Netherlands. Head of administrative department; responsible for 25 members of staff.
